Richard BLABER²⁶ was born about 1774 in Albourne, West Sussex, England.^68,69 He was christened on 1 May 1774 in Albourne, West Sussex, England.^39,70 He lived at Barrack House in Albourne, West Sussex, England in 1841–1851.^71,72 In 1841 Richard was an Agricultural Labourer.⁷² In 1851 he was an Agricultural Labourer and Pauper.⁷³ He died in 1853 at the age of 79 in Cuckfield, West Sussex, England.⁷⁴

Richard BLABER and Joannah "Hannah" STONE were married on 31 December 1792 in Woodmancote, West Sussex, England.^24,75,76,77 IGI and Woodmancote Register gives bride's name as Joannah STONE. Married by John Rideout, Curate. Witnesses: Jane PIPER and James GODLEY. Pallot's Transcribed Marriage Index gives place of marriage as Woodford. This is clearly incorrect. We have checked the original entry and it is clearly 'Woodmancote Sussex'.
Joannah "Hannah" STONE died on 20 May 1839 in Albourne, West Sussex, England.^73,78,79 Her husband, Richard, was present at her death.

62	iv.	James Hole BLABER⁴⁸ was born about 1805. He was christened on 10 March 1805 in Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex, England.⁴⁶ Mother given as "Hannah" on IGI. No father's name. Albourne and Hurstpierpoint only approx. 1/2 mile apart. (It would be interesting to find where the name"Hole" came from.)
