William Edmund BLABER149 was born in 1868 in Gravesend, Kent, England.133,138,149,412,413,414,415 He lived at 2 Albion Road in Gravesend, Kent, England in 1871.162 He lived at Boys Industrial School in Exminster, Devon, England from 29 October 1877 to 7 August 1883.138,396 In 1881 William was a Trainee Tailor in Exminster, Devon, England.123,396 He lived at 1 Arabi Cottages in Denton, Kent, England on 19 March 1889.138 In 1891–1896 he was a General Labourer.133,416 William lived at 6 Bude Terrace, London Road in Swanscombe, Dartford, Kent, England in 1891.416 William was a lodger in the household of Jane Bartholomew, widow. He lived at Gordon Road in Rosherville, Northfleet, Kent, England in 1896.133 He died in 1907 at the age of 39 in Gravesend, Kent, England.417,418 GRO Death Certificate indicates that William died at the age of 42 in 1907 (b. 1865), but we know that he was born in 1868, which would make him actually 38/39 at his death.
William was buried on 29 May 1907 at Municipal Cemetery in Gravesend, Kent, England.419 He was also known as William Edward Blaber.419

William Edmund BLABER and Mary Ann Elizabeth WAKEFIELD were married on 14 June 1896 at St Botolph's Church in Northfleet, Kent, England.122,133,149,420,421 According to the Marriage Certificate, Mary was aged 34 and William was aged 30 at their marriage. In fact Mary would have been about 37 (b. 1859) and William about 28 (b. 1868). There were other discrepancies too, such as incorrectly entered (reversed?) names of the fathers of them both.
Witnesses at their wedding were: John S MCMILLAN and Emma LOCKNEILL (or POCKNELL).
Mary Ann Elizabeth WAKEFIELD149, daughter of John WAKEFIELD and Mary Ann PARKINS, was born in 1859 in Gravesend, Kent, England.133,422,423,424,425,426,427 She was christened on 6 November 1859 at Christ Church in Milton, Gravesend, Kent, England.428 She lived at 2 Duke of York Court in Milton, Gravesend, Kent, England in 1871.429 Mary lived at 7 The Lawn in Northfleet, Kent, England in 1896.133 She lived at 8 Duke of York Court in Milton, Gravesend, Kent, England in 1901.422 At the 1901 census, Mary was described as 'married' but William was not at home. We have been unable to trace his whereabouts in 1901, so far. In 1901 she was a General Labourer.422 Mary died in 1933 at the age of 74 in Gravesend, Kent, England.430 She was buried on 2 December 1933 at Municipal Cemetery in Gravesend, Kent, England.427
