Henry George BLABER⁵¹² was born on 10 October 1880 in Kinsale, Cork, Republic of Ireland.^{252,509,513,514,515,516,517} He was christened on 30 October 1880 at Garrison Artillery, School of Gunnery in Shoeburyness, Essex, England.²⁵² His Christening was performed by R H Meade. Father: Henry BLABER RA, Gunner 19269; Mother Caroline BLABER nee SAINSBURY. He lived at 2 Gothic Row in South Shoebury, Essex, England in 1881.²⁴⁹ Henry lived at Vallance Cottage, Vallance Road in Lewes, East Sussex, England in 1891.²⁴⁷ He lived at 6 Neville Road in Lewes, East Sussex, England in 1901.^256,257 In 1901 he was a Gentleman's Gardener.^256,257 In 1911 Henry was a Domestic Gardener.⁵¹⁸ In 1914 he was a Head Gardener.⁵¹⁹ He served in the Army in 1914–1918.^509,520 The following information was found on the inside cover of Henry's Book of Common Prayer, in his own handwriting:
"Served in India: Duke of Wellington, West Riding Regiment No 206583, L/C H G Blaber, C Company, 24th Battalion Rifle Brigade, based at Soldier's Home, Sailkot, Punjab, India."
He was awarded the British Medal.
In 1927 Henry was a Landscape Gardener.⁵⁰⁹ Between 1934 and 1938 he was a Jobbing Gardener.^263,509,521 He lived at Mochdre in Colwyn Bay, Wales in 1935.²⁶³ In 1939 Henry was a Private Gardener.⁵¹⁷ He died on 7 April 1967 at the age of 86 at Llandudno General Hospital in Llandudno, North Wales, UK.^509,522

Henry George BLABER and Rosa CARDY were married on 26 December 1901 in St Anne's Church (previously St Peter & St Mary Westout), Lewes, East Sussex, England.^257,523,524 Their marriage was witnessed by: Harry Cardy and Emily Blaber. The ceremony was performed by Rev Henry Belcher, Rector of St Michael's, Lewes. On the marriage certificate, Rosa was stated to be aged 21, where in fact she would have been aged 31. They^257,523,524 lived at The Elms in Isfield, East Sussex, England between 1911 and 1914.^509,525 Rosa CARDY, daughter of James CARDY, was born on 2 October 1868 in West Molesey, Surrey, England.^{526,527,528,529,530,531} She lived at Gardener's Lodge in West Molesey, Surrey, England in 1871.⁵³² She lived at Cemetery Road in West Molesey, Surrey, England in 1881.⁵³³ Between 1891 and 1901 Rosa was a Cook.^534,535 She lived at Bridge Road at the Convalescent Home in Easy Molesey, Surrey, England in 1891.⁵³⁵ At the 1891 census, Rosa was a resident cook at the Convalescent Home. She lived at 212 High Street in Lewes, East Sussex, England in 1901.⁵³⁴ At the 1891 Census, Rosa was a live-in servant at the home of Walter Cobbett, Journalist. Rosa lived at Flat 1, Vista Buildings, Penrhyn Avenue in Rhos-on-Sea, Colwyn Bay, Clwyd, Wales in 1939.⁵³¹ In 1939 she was a Domestic Help.⁵³¹ At the 1939 Register, her daughter Eleanor was living with her.
She died of Myocarditis on 17 February 1950 at the age of 81 at 19 Landsdown Estate in Broughton, Hawarden, Flintshire, Wales.^536,537 Rosa's death was registered on 18 February 1950 by her daughter-in-law, M I Blaber, who was present at her death. Rosa's 'Occupation' was given as "Wife of Henry George BLABER, gardener" even though by now Henry was married to Maggie Annie HUMPHREYS.

Henry George BLABER and Margaret Annie "Maggie" HUMPHREYS were married on 30 November 1935 in Abergele Registry Office, Denbigh, Wales.^263,540 Henry claimed to be 48 on his marriage to Maggie Annie HUMPHREYS, whereas he was in fact aged 55. He is also noted as a 'widower' although his first wife Rosa was still living.
Their marriage was witnessed by Emily Ellen Williams (nee BLABER, Rosa's daughter) and her husband, Hugh WILLIAMS.
They^263,540 lived at Bay View, Vardre Drive in Conway, Wales, UK in 1939.⁵¹⁷ Margaret Annie "Maggie" HUMPHREYS, daughter of William HUMPHREYS, was born on 12 September 1896 at 39 Pool Hill in Caernarfon, Wales.^509,541,542 She died on 30 September 1987 at the age of 91 at Conway Hospital in Conway, Wales, UK.⁵⁰⁹
