Godfathers were John Penfield and George Apps of the Castle. Godmother was Miss Hudson, the midwife. He died on 2 September 1753 at the age of 61.²²
20	iii.	Miss BLABER²¹ was born in May 1696 in Lewes, East Sussex, England. Probably the weaker twin with Mary. She was christened on 14 May 1696 in St John Sub Castro Church, Lewes, East Sussex, England.²¹ She was born on the previous Thursday.

Mary BLABER²¹ was born on 14 May 1696 in Lewes, East Sussex, England.⁴¹ She was christened on 3 June 1696 in All Saints' Church, Lewes, East Sussex, England.^21,41 Recorded in St John Sub Castro register. Baptised by Mr Whalley. Godfathers were Henry Morgan and Edward Whitman. Godmothers were Mary, wife of John Blaber Senior, and Sarah Wilkinson, widow.

She was baptised at home "with ye private baptism by Mr Whalley ye child being sicke. Sunday ye 12th of February it was certified at St Johns to Mr Shore". Godfather was Joseph Blaber. Godmother was "John Blaber wife older Timothy Paine her sister". She died in 1699 at the age of 1.
