MRS W BLABER
The death occurred at Lewes Victoria Hospital on Wednesday last week of Mrs Sarah Jane BLABER, wife of Mr William BLABER, of 6 Waterloo Place, Lewes. She was 76. She had lived in Lewes for over 50 years, and for many years had a shop in West Street. Mr BLABER was employed by Messrs Harvey and Son (Lewes) Ltd., for 55 years as a foreman storeman.
The funeral was conducted at Lewes Cemetery on Saturday by the Rev D G Matthews (rector of Southover). Mr BLABER was unable to attend owing to illness.
The chief mourners were Mrs H Kendell (sister), Mr F King (nephew), Mrs D Starling (niece), Mr T BLABER, Mr and Mrs A BLABER, Mr and Mrs M Ellis (brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law), Mr A C Watford, Mrs H Hills (cousins), Mrs A J Best, Mr and Mrs W Ward."
