Charles Edwin BARRACLOUGH⁵⁴⁰ was born in 1899 in Gomersal, Birstall, Yorkshire, England.^{568,4602,4603} He lived at 31 Back Richmond Street in Batley, West Yorkshire, England in 1901.³⁸⁵³ He lived at 3 Carters Yard, Cross Bank in Batley, West Yorkshire, England in 1934.⁵⁶⁸ On the death of his wife Annie, Charles Edwin moved with his two children, Edna and Leonard, to live with his parents. He was described as "a lazy sod and a selfish man who was a heavy smoker". He evidently cared little for his children, and left them two years later in 1936 to marry the eighteen year old Celia. Charles died in 1983 at the age of 84 in Oakwell Hospital.⁵⁶⁸ He died aged 82 years.

Charles Edwin BARRACLOUGH and Annie Elizabeth FOZZARD were married on 18 February 1920.^540,568 Annie Elizabeth FOZZARD⁵⁴⁰ was born about 1900.⁵⁶⁸ She died in 1934 at the age of 34.⁵⁶⁸ She died of Dropsy at the age of 34 years.
