Gladys May Annie Georgina BLABER¹⁴⁹ was born on 4 September 1898 in Harwich, Essex, England.^{358,619,620,621,622} She was christened on 24 September 1898 at St Nicholas' Church in Harwich, Essex, England.³⁶² She lived at 1 Commercial Road in Plymouth, Devon, England in 1901.³⁵⁷ Gladys lived at Garrison Cottage in Brilley, Herefordshire, England in 1911.⁶²³ At the 1911 Census, Gladys May was living with her 'uncle' William Thomas POWELL [step-father to be], his sons, John Griffiths and George Thomas POWELL, and her widowed mother, Elizabeth Jane BLABER (45). Elizabeth Jane went on to marry William Thomas POWELL in 1915.
She died about July 1995 at the age of 96 in Hay-on-Wye, Powys, Wales.⁶²⁴
