Frederick Leslie BLABER and Joan Catherine BIRD were married in 1953 in Lewes, East Sussex, England.⁶⁹⁴ They⁶⁹⁴ lived at 6 Hoopers Close in Lewes, East Sussex, England in 2002.⁶⁹⁵ Joan Catherine BIRD, daughter of BIRD and DEACON, was born in 1932 in Andover, Hampshire, England.^696,697 She died on 23 September 2017 at the age of 85 at The Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, East Sussex, England.^696,698 Joan was admitted to the hospital following a minor stroke on 22nd August 2017. On September 17th 2017 she drank some Flash floor cleaner which was in a water jug put on her bedside table. She died six days later after drinking the fluid after a nurse had poured Joan a glass from the jug for her to take some pills. The Brighton and Hove Coroner hit out at the "serious failings" of the hospital trust. A similar incident occurred on the same floor in 2016 involving the drinking of cleaning fluid, happily not resulting in death.
