165. Ruby Doreen WHYMARK³⁹⁷ was born on 27 August 1914 in Eastbourne, East Sussex, England.^397,1029 She was born at 1 Burlington Mews, Seaside. She was a Milliner's shop assistant.³⁹⁷ She was an ARP ambulance attendant (WWII).³⁹⁷ Ruby was a Canteen manageress.³⁹⁷ She was a Home machinist (clothing).³⁹⁷ She died of coronary occlusion, calcified atheroma after collapsing at home on 11 May 1986 at the age of 71 in Walthamstow, London, England.^397,1030 She was dead on arrival at Whipps Hospital. Ruby was cremated.³⁹⁷ Ruby and her older sister Norah, were raised mainly by her paternal grandparents after their mother left their father, presumable because philandering with other women and also losing jobs over it. They were also farmed out to Uncle Charles and Aunt Emily who were living in the Hendon area. She also lived in Colindale.
