His daughter, Harriett Eliza TRUETT was present at his death. We assume he had gone to live with his daughter for his last months.

"Frederick Erridge BLABER, 28, of Glandall Street, Brixton, telegraph clerk, was charged with assaulting William STREET, an official of the Crystal Palace, on the evening of Friday, when the pantomime was being played. Mr Ellison ordered a remand, to allow of inquiry being made and further evidence obtained". He lived at 3 Caroline Street in St George, Hanover Square, Westminster, London, England in 1881.101 He was lodging at the home of Mrs Ann Chandler in 1881. He was unmarried at this time.
