She lived at 1 Crown Terrace at Bell Green in Lower Sydenham, London, England in 1881.¹³⁵ She lived at 14 Ettrick Street in Tower Hamlets, London, England in 1883.¹⁵⁰ Alice was educated on 4 June 1883 at Oban Street School in Tower Hamlets, London, England.¹⁵⁰ Here DoB is given as 27 July 1874. However, her birth was registered Q3 1875, and she was aged 6 at the 1881 census, so 1874 is incorrect - should be 1875.
She emigrated on 23 September 1886 to Peterborough County, Ontario, Canada.^306,307,308 The ship "Parisian" departed from Liverpool 23 September 1886 and arrived at Quebec 2 October 1886. She was in a Dr Barnardos party of 59 girls under the 'Home Children' Scheme. Her final destination was stated as Peterborough, Ontario.
At the 1901 Census, Alice stated she immigrated to Canada in 1885.
In 1891 she was a Domestic.³⁰⁹ At the 1891 Canadian Census, Alice was a live-in Domestic in the home of Henry BARNARD (English - 64), his wife Ann (Canadian but of English parents - 61) and their son Wilber (Canadian - 24). Henry was a Farmer, and the family were recorded as Methodists.
Alice lived at a farm at Monaghan South District in Peterborough County, Ontario, Canada on 17 April 1891.³¹⁰ She died in 1954 at the age of 79 in Ontario, Canada.³¹¹ She was buried in 1954 at Victoria Lawns Cemetery in St Catharines, Ontario, Canada.³¹¹
