Benjamin Samuel BLABER35 was born about 1811 in Epsom, Surrey, England.36 He was christened on 15 June 1811 at St Martin's Church in Epsom, Surrey, England.42,103,104 Between 1842 and 1844 he was a Police Constable.105,106 Benjamin died circa April 1850 at the age of 39 in Camberwell, Surrey, England.107,108 Benjamin Samuel Blaber's will (below) was written on 9 April 1850. By 27 May 1850, his wife is described as a "widow". I have transcribed this from a photocopy of the original. The writing is very difficult to read, and the ink from the other side of the page has seeped through making it all extremely difficult to decipher.

"This is the last will and testament
of me Benjamin Samuel Blaber of Charles Street, Peckham,
Parish of Camberwell, County of Surrey. Firstly I desire that all my
just debts funeral and testamentary expenses be paid and satisfied by
my executors thereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be
after my decease and Secondly I give desire and bequeath unto Eliza
Ann Blaber of No. 8 Charles Street, Peckham, Parish of Camberwell in
County of Surrey and James Clark of Church Street, Croydon in the
