Henry BLABER was born about 1829 in East Sussex, England.95,96 He lived at home in Folkington, East Sussex, England in 1841.95 He was a Policeman.97 Henry emigrated on 13 January 1855/6 to New South Wales, Australia.97 He arrived in Australia on board the 'Bangalore'. The ship was full of Policemen and their families. Could this mass emigration of the 'law' to NSW have anything to do with the 'gold'rush'?. Henry travelled alone. One record clearly gives the year as 1855, and another as 1856. As it was January it is more likely that the year was 1856 and the person stating 1855 did so by habit and forgot that the year had changed.
