On the first entry he is described as an 'Engineer' aged 47. It stated that he intended staying in Spain for more than 12 months. On the second entry, he is bound for Valparaiso, Chile, described as a 'Merchant' aged 44 and intending to stay there for more than 12 months. Something is clearly wrong here, but we do not know what!!! Are there two Walter Blabers on the same voyage? In 1913 he was an Engineer.⁴⁶⁸ In 1915 he was a Publisher's Manager.⁴⁷⁰ Walter sailed on 'St Paul' from Liverpool to New York on 8 December 1915.⁴⁷⁰ He died on 18 October 1931 at the age of 65 at Northwood and Pinner District Hospital in Northwood, Middlesex, England.⁴⁷¹ He had his estate probated on 21 November 1931 in London, England.⁴⁷¹ Probate was granted to his widow, Eliza Jane BLABER.
