Joseph BLABER4 was born on 10 June 1812 in Chichester, West Sussex, England.30 He was christened on 21 June 1812 in Wesleyan Methodist Church, St Mary's Lane, Lewes, East Sussex, England.34 In 1833 he was a Labourer at Catt and Vallance Brewery in Brighton, East Sussex, England.45 Joseph died on 2 June 1833 at the age of 20 in Brighton, East Sussex, England.45 From Sussex Advertiser, 10th June 1833:
"Inquest taken before Coroner F H Gell Esq.
At the King's Head Inn, Brighton, on Sunday the 2d inst., on view of the body of Joseph BLABER, a labourer, in the employ of Messrs Catt and Vallance, brewers. Deceased had drawn up a cask of beer from the cellar by a sling - he had placed the front of a dray close by, and was moving it back to its place in the hinder parts - in cutting it over he overswayed it, and fell down the hatchway upon his feet, and then fell backwards. The cast followed him and fell about the centre of his body, which caused almost immediate death. The deceased fell from a height of from 10 to 12 feet. Verdict - Accidental Death."

He was buried on 3 June 1833 at St John the Baptist's Church in Southover, Lewes, East Sussex, England.46
