2. Edward Lovel BLABER2 was born about 1780 in Ringmer, Lewes, East Sussex, England.5,6,7,8,9 He was illegitimate. He was christened on 25 December 1780 in Ringmer, Lewes, East Sussex, England.10,11 He lived at Clayhill in Ringmer, Lewes, East Sussex, England between 1833 and 1861.3,5,12,13,14,15 Between 1841 and 1853 Edward was a Farm Labourer.12,14,15,16 Stated at daughter Mary's marriage to David Davies in 1868 to have been a farmer, although by then deceased. Between 1855 and 1861 he was a Cottage Gardener.5,13,17,18 He died in 1866 at the age of 86 in Lewes, East Sussex, England.19 Edward was buried on 2 November 1866.3 He was also known as Edward Lovell and Edward Lovewell.3

Edward Lovel BLABER and Sarah CORD were married on 4 October 1812 in Ringmer, Lewes, East Sussex, England.3,20 IGI has place of marriage as Isfield. This is quite likely as the tradition was for marriages to take place in the bride's parish church. Sarah CORD12 was born about 1794 in Isfield, East Sussex, England.21,22,23 She lived at Clayhill in Ringmer, Lewes, East Sussex, England in 1841–1851.12,14,15 She died on 18 January 1853 at the age of 59.16 Her death was registered in Ringmer. Sarah was buried on 24 January 1853.3
